Share files using Microsoft OneDrive
OneDrive is Microsoft’s cloud storage solution which allow you to store and share data securely on the internet.
You can share files and folders both internally and externally. You can also give special access to allow editing, as well as set an expiration date:
Important Notes:

“Allow editing” means users will be able to upload/download as well as edit and delete any files or folders within a shared folder.

External users are sent a verification code to verify their identity before they can make any changes. If it appears that the code was not received, have the user check their spam folders.

You can manage access to files you have shared by selecting Details from the file/folder options on your OneDrive web portal.

You can access OneDrive from directly from the OneDrive application installed on your computer, the SharePoint homepage or from the web, as well the Teams app and the OneDrive mobile app.

You cannot share externally any data stored within Teams or Sharepoint.
From Windows:
Click on the hidden icons tray in the bottom-right corner of the screen near the clock to see if you are signed in. If you see a blue cloud, this means you are signed in:
If the cloud is gray, click on it to sign in with your Microsoft account.
Once signed in, this will create a One Drive – CS Energy folder on your computer which periodically backs up to the cloud whenever you are connected to the internet..
You can add files and folders to your personal OneDrive by adding files directly to this folder.
To create a shareable link, right-click any file in the folder and select “Share”:
Selecting “Choose OneDrive folders to sync” will allow you to add other local folders on your computer in addition to the main OneDrive – Conti Solar folder, and which will function in the same way.
From Teams:

To access your personal OneDrive from Teams app click on the “Files” tab on the left, then “One Drive”.

From this screen, you can add files directly to your personal cloud storage by clicking on “+ New”.

You can share any file by clicking on the three dots next to the filename and selecting “Open in OneDrive”, which will open up your personal OneDrive file structure in a web browser.

From your OneDrive page, click the three dots next to any file and select “Share”.
